At certain times Terp accepts applications for the grants. Historically, it has been annually and when the time
comes, the window for submitting applications is only a couple weeks. Additionally, the program is 1st come 1st served.
The Terp grant program has certain criterias. A few criterias are below:
Your name or the company name applying
for the grant must be on the title of the truck. The truck is allowed to have a lien. Leased trucks would not be approved
if the applicant's name is not on the truck title.
The applicant must commit to operating the APU in certain
counties of Texas. The combined usage in these counties must equal to at least 75% of the total usage. In other words,
you are allowed to operate in other counties and states up to 25% of the time.

you, then you may be able to qualify for a Terp grant for an APU at no cost. We will be glad to assist you with
